The Bardolino Path has been officially inaugurated to explore the landscapes of the hinterland of Lake Garda among the most renowned wineries that produce the famous wine that needs no introduction. Eighteen routes can also be covered separately, for a total of more than 100 km that have been well mapped and equipped with additional signs along the way. The longest routes measure about 20 km., the shortest ones measure about 3. today a foundation open to the public, is a complex of buildings, streets, squares, an open-air theater, gardens and waterways erected in 1921, in Gardone Riviera on the shores of Lake Garda by Gabriele d'Annunzio with the help of architect Gian Carlo Maroni, in memory of the "inimitable life" of the poet-soldier and the exploits of the Italians during the First World War. The theater, overlooking the lake, is a natural setting where the spectator can now attend performances or concerts.
